Farm Transition and Land Access

Farmland for a New Generation

Are you interested in finding a Farmer for your land or finding Land to farm? Are you seeking tools to help transition your land or build your farm business?

Transitioning land or an agricultural operation to the next farmer can be challenging to both the landowner and a new farmer. This time of transition can also put prime agricultural land at risk for development. The Farmland for a New Generation offers listings of farmland and farmers, training materials and events, and personal assistance. New York Agricultural Land Trust staff work as a Regional Navigator for the Farmland for a New Generation program to assist farmers and landowners access these resources.
